SHINDO (Head Office: Awara City, Fukui Prefecture, Japan) is pleased to announce the release of the new innovative thin-ply thermoplastic prepreg SHIMTEQ™ TP CB159.
SHIMTEQ™ TP CB159 is a thin-ply prepreg product in which carbon fibers are opened into a thin ply and impregnated with polyether ether ketone (PEEK) resin by unique processes.
PEEK resin is a super engineering plastic characterized by high heat resistance, excellent chemical resistance, mechanical strength, and long-term reliability, derived from its aromatic backbone structure. It exhibits minimal property degradation even under high-temperature conditions and shows high chemical stability against acids, alkalis, and organic solvents, making it widely used in fields that demand harsh operating conditions.
We encourage consideration of SHIMTEQ™ TP CB159 for new product development and application innovations. Please contact us if you have any questions or interests.
